Mapping Melbourne is a project I am currently working on and the shapes of the Sidney Myer Music Bowl were too good to resist.To complete each map piece I visit the location and take in the colours, smells and shapes which I then depict on the finished piece.
 
The map is oriented to North and approximately to scale.
 
The painting is continued around the sides of the canvas.
