This is a map of the area along Southbank Boulevard in the CBD of Melbourne. More precisely, the intersection to the top left of the painting is City Road and Southbank Boulevard.
 
The area is very busy and I took notes of the colours of cars I saw whilst waiting for traffic to move. Other colours were determined by signs and logos in the area.
The roads are depicted in black and each block has a central point creating triangles similar to triangulation, as used in Land Surveying and mapping.
 
The map is oriented to North and approximately to scale.
 
The sides of the canvas are painted black.
 
Signed on the front and authenticated on the back.
