Living with Aphantasia has led me to think about memory less as a complete visual replay and more as fragments of information, feeling, association, and language. This project asks participants to reduce a personal memory into a single word — stripping away narrative, detail, and imagery until only a distilled trace remains. Collected together, these isolated words form a shifting archive of remembered experience. Removed from their original context, they become simultaneously personal and anonymous, revealing both the fragility of memory and the strange connections that emerge through collective recall.
