The St Kilda Library is located at 150 Carlisle Street, St Kilda and was originally designed by Enrico Taglietti in 1971.
The first stage, completed in 1973 was award-winning.
However, the building was built in two stages and the final stage was designed by architects Ashton Raggatt McDougall and completed in 1993.
The combination of wood, concrete and glass is elegant and sophisticated and because of that it was included in my short list.
The map is oriented to the North.
The painting is continued around the sides of the canvas.
Signed on the front and authenticated on the back.
