One of my earliest associations is Gabbin Primary School in the Western Australian Wheatbelt, where our sports uniform was a yellow-gold T-shirt with black shorts.

Purple has never been one of the defining colours of my life, yet it has appeared often enough that I eventually stopped to ask why.

I’m delighted to share that The Ruins has been awarded Second Prize (The Tina Wentcher Award) at the Annual Awards Exhibition of the Association of Sculptors Victoria.
