WINNER - VALDA CUMING SCULPTURE AWARD
I’m thrilled to announce that my sculpture Misaligned has received the Valda Cuming Sculpture Award at the MSWPS annual exhibition Changing Perspectives.
This award feels like such an encouragement to keep pushing my practice forward, and I’m especially grateful that it was judged by Joanna Bosse and Kelly Gellatly, whose experience and insights in the arts community make this recognition even more meaningful.
The judges shared these generous words about my work:

“This work is beautifully executed and has a fine attention to details. We were drawn to the dynamism of the colour, the rhythmic placement of the forms and the generous and open-ended nature of the narratives it suggests.”
To receive feedback like this is both humbling and motivating. Thank you MSWPS, Joanna, and Kelly for this honour.
