Short term accommodation is depicted as the eleventh house Peta lived in. Following her parents thinking they were homesick, Peta and her family had bought a small caravan, filled it with belongings and headed back home. Peta doesn’t remember much about this house, but she does have a photo of her and her brother on a horse. “The first and last time I get on a horse!” The horse, therefore, is featured heavily in this piece. There is a horse mane on the left and within the rectangular shape, depicting the house, is a horse shoe. Also shown within the box are thin white lines carried over into the road section above, inspired by a digital contour map that can be found on WA’s online Land system.

The canvas is oriented with North at the top and stencilled on the side is the exact location of the house in the form of latitude and longitude coordinates.
