Fragments of Elsewhere reflects on the experience of Aphantasia — living without the ability to summon mental images. Landscapes cannot be recalled in detail, yet their presence is still felt as fragments, traces, and impressions.
The work considers what it means to search for memory and place beyond the limits of vision. Each fragment gestures toward an imagined horizon, evoking a sense of elsewhere that resists clarity but remains deeply resonant.
What emerges is a meditation on absence and presence — how even without pictures in the mind, spaces beyond can still be sensed, remembered, and re-formed.
