This is an aerial view of Avalon Airport, south west of Melbourne CBD.
 
With all the planes grounded, as a result of the COVID19 Pandemic, there have been no flights in or out for months.
 
The colours are indicative of those seen at the airport, including the planes and surrounding area. The blue is textured with a hard edge, while the remainder of the surface is smooth. Featuring stripes of Silver Leaf to represent reflections and everything shiny at an airport.
 
The map is oriented to North and approximately to scale.
 
The painting is continued around the sides of the canvas.
