Mornington-Tyabb For Breakfast was a recollection of my family visiting Mornington for a meal. By consciously absorbing the experience I utilised a combination of textural and very flat finishes to represent the local landscape. The colours are carefully chosen to reflect the atmosphere of the location.
 
The map is oriented to the North and approximately to scale.
 
The painting is continued around the sides of the canvas.
