Mapping Melbourne is a project I am currently working on and this was inspired by the trouble of finding a parking spot of more than 2 hours limit while visiting an art gallery in Mont Albert. To complete each map piece I visit the location and take in the colours, smells and shapes which I then depict on the finished piece.
 
The map is oriented to North and approximately to scale.
 
The painting is continued around the sides of the canvas.
 
Signed on the front and authenticated on the back.
