Modernity in Concrete

Modernity in Concrete

$700.00Price

45 x 55 cm

Acrylic on canvas

Ready to hang

From the 2022 Top Views exhibition.

Located on the service road at 216 Albert Road, South Melbourne. Nissan House, also known as Travel House, was designed by Melbourne Architects Synman Justin & Bialek and completed in 1983.

An award-winning design and its clean lines and feature window make it unique.

The circular window makes me question what the architect was thinking and if it has any connection to the Dutch flag.

The map is oriented to the North.

The painting is continued around the sides of the canvas.

Signed on the front and authenticated on the back.
