Finalist in the Art Lovers Australia Prize 2020
 
This large work is inspired by Princes Bridge in the Melbourne CBD. I have crossed the bridge numerous times and the colours were selected from visiting the location one particular afternoon. I also took notes on shapes and textures while I was there. For example the yellow arrows depict the direction of the river flow.
 
The map is oriented to North and approximately to scale.
 
The painting is continued around the sides of the canvas.
 
Signed on the front and authenticated on the back.
