Mapping Melbourne is a project I am currently working on and the Richmond Train Station has many wonderful shapes and so I had to paint my interpretation of it.To complete each map piece I visit the location and take in the colours, smells and shapes which I then depict on the finished piece.The surface is very smooth and very precise. The sides of the canvas are a continuation of the image on the face of the canvas.
