Mapping Melbourne is a project I am currently working on and this piece is located at the Tullamarine Airport. The shapes and lines were almost comical.
To complete each map piece I usually visit the location and take in the colours, smells and shapes, however, as access is restricted I had to wait until I travelled to take my notes.
 
The map is oriented to North and approximately to scale.
 
The painting is continued around the sides of the canvas.
