As a Cartographer for 30 years, I was often subjected to sexism, othering and prejudice. The Cartographic field has always been male-dominated, and I proved that it was possible to have a successful and respected career in the industry. While it was never easy, it made me stronger and gave me the drive I needed to prove myself. "Who's That Girl?" is a painting to remind me of how I felt objectified rather than respected by many of the men in the industry.
