It's always nice to have special people in your life that believe in you, even when you have doubts.
I am lucky enough to have one of those special people. My brother in law has always believed in me and although I live in a different state and don't see him often, that belief motivates me.
Over the last few weeks I have been working on a painting as a gift to say thank you.
The colours I chose are based on those of the property and the local area.
To enhance the use of white wooden picket fences I added the stripes and to represent how lucky the street is to have such wonderful neighbour, in my brother in law and his partner, I added a touch of gold leaf.
Although anxious awaiting his thoughts on the piece I was so thrilled to hear how happy he was with his new artwork.
